  1.                        HISTORY

  3.    This section allows a general review of all records within
  4. the history file.  It also allows selective reviews by volume
  5. category, department, or tour. It shows week to date, accoun-
  6. ting period (a 28 day or 4 week period) to date, and year to
  7. date, as well as showing average volume, hours, and product-
  8. ivity.  The average line also shows the number of days in the
  9. average for a better feeling of the validity of the average.
  10. (An average over 365 days is far preferable to one of 30 days
  11. or so)  The all record review also gives a recap.  The
  12. case and field length sensitivities discussed in the
  13. operations help screen apply here as well.  This file is used
  14. by the Staffing Projection routine to develop various staf-
  15. fing strategies based on the average history of your oper-
  16. ation.  The Print option in the Main Menu when selected will
  17. give you a print out of your selected data at the same time
  18. it is being displayed on screen.
